Map Case Prototype 1

This is the map case I made a couple years ago at work.

It was decided to be too labor intensive to put into full production as this one took nearly 5 hours to make.

It was almost entirely hand stitched with the exception of the folded over seam around the end caps.

It is a leather shell sewn around a clear plastic tube. Done so that none of the metal hardware will be in contact with whatever you choose to store/carry inside.

I'm considering making a few more as a side project.
